Information used by the app

Host Pulse processes the host names and HTTPS heartbeat addresses you configure, reported status and timestamps, optional usage percentages and reset times, and your badge-permission state. These are used to show host health and the freshness of the available information.

The developer does not collect host configuration, status payloads, or app usage analytics. Host Pulse includes no advertising, behavioral analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking.

On-device storage and iCloud

The app and widget use a shared on-device container for configuration, status snapshots, and verification times. Existing configuration is migrated into this cache when needed. Configuration and recent state can also synchronize through your own iCloud Key-Value Store.

The app uses Apple’s platform security for local storage and standard HTTPS networking. iCloud is provided by Apple and is governed by your Apple account settings and Apple’s privacy practices.

Your configured endpoints

Host Pulse contacts only the host-status endpoints you configure for monitoring. Endpoint operators receive the network requests needed to deliver the requested status, and may handle connection information under their own policies. Host status content is not forwarded to a developer-operated Host Pulse server.

Optional host reporting tools

A reporting tool running on your computer can use an existing Codex sign-in to read that computer’s remote-environment status and latest heartbeat from OpenAI. Authorization is sent to OpenAI, while the published heartbeat contains the chosen host name, status, and timestamps. Status checking uses read-only requests rather than model inference. Keep reporting-service credentials on the reporting host and control the visibility of the endpoint you publish.

Optional purchases

Where voluntary support purchases are available, Apple StoreKit processes the transaction. Host Pulse uses product information and transaction-verification results to display and complete the purchase. The developer does not receive complete payment-card information. Purchase availability depends on the installed release and App Store configuration.

Your controls and retention

You can edit or remove configured endpoints in the app, manage iCloud through your Apple account settings, and change badge permission in iOS Settings. Uninstalling the app removes its app-local data; shared-container and iCloud data are managed through the installed related components and Apple account settings. Your endpoint provider controls any remotely published heartbeat records.

If you contact support, the information you voluntarily send is used to respond to your request and retained as needed to resolve it. Email is handled by the email providers involved. You can request deletion of support correspondence by contacting the address below.

This support website

This website provides product help and policy information. It does not add advertising or analytics cookies. Its hosting provider processes ordinary connection data needed to serve and secure the pages. Opening a support email link uses your selected email application.
